"Dance For The Dead"

This is another fascinating thriller by Thomas Perry. It was released in 1997 and if you love a thriller and haven't read it, you should. It will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

This is the second book with Jane Whitefield, who saves people when others are trying to kill them. She must help two people escape undetected. One, is a little 8-year-old boy named Timmy, who found his adopted parents after they were horribly killed. He is worth a lot of money and from the look of his bedroom, the maid, Mona, thinks the killer(s) were looking for him. He must get out of there.

The other person is Mary Perkins, who is also trying to vanish from the bad guys chasing her. She has received a lot of money, from tricking people, and hid it somewhere. She also needs Jane's help.

Jane is willing to help, but whoever is trying to get Timmy is also out for Mary. Jane has brilliant Indian ways and friends, but she never realized that there was a connection between Timmy and Mary. Fortunately, her friends help her, but at what cost to them and her? Will their Indian techniques be enough to save Timmy and Mary? It finally ends on a dark, snowy night in the city of Buffalo. What will happen?

This book was enjoyed by many people, just like other books by Perry. Many fans were happy to see Jane Whitefield come back, especially Perry, who said, “I missed her...going back to her was a pleasure.”
